We produce world class, future-proof recordings
THE PROBLEM
Cast Albums need to build an audience with a world class recording, that stands out from the crowd in a saturated streaming market. One that doesn't just present the music, but fully immerses the listener with an emotional, three dimensional theatrical experience.
Original Soundtrack Albums of theatre scores rarely get made, and if they do, face a challenge to genuinely do the music justice.
Producers have to know where to turn to assemble the right personnel and facilities to create a world class cast recording, achieve a coherent workflow, and realise their artistic ambitions on budget.
THE SOLUTION
We offer a single, trusted team and a unique solution, that plans, records, produces and mixes your cast album or original soundtrack from end to end, to film-grade standard, while you keep control of your own music and master.
WHY US?
Very few people recording cast albums come from a film-scoring background.
Gareth does, with a Cinema Audio Society Award, more than thirty-five years of work, Abbey Road roots and a dedicated Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 room.
Bruce led the music of the Royal Shakespeare Company for two decades, and brings the producing, clearance and musical knowledge that cast albums genuinely depend on.
Between us we have already made more than thirty recordings together. This combination of cinematic-quality immersive mixing and deep theatre-music production knowledge is unique.
WHY DOLBY ATMOS?
The difference is immersive audio, as standard.
Recorded in Dolby Atmos, an album places the listener inside the sound of the production rather than in front of it, and that matters commercially as much as artistically. It gives your recording a genuine point of difference in a crowded market, and Apple Music pays a royalty premium of up to ten percent for spatial audio.
Where the score is pre-recorded for the live show, the same immersive mix can also be used inside the theatre, so a single recording serves both the production and the album.
Additionally, a recording with spatial audio mix assets creates further exploitaton opportunities for synchronisation use in visual media.
